If you are looking for an enjoyable local outing, look no further than the Eagle Point Museum!  The museum is  located at 202 N. Royal Ave. in downtown Eagle Point.  Did you know that the museum is host to one of the largest collections of artifacts open to the public in the county?  Take a step back through time as you explore the building, which was originally the Long Mountain School, built in 1925.  Museum hosts are on-hand to bring the displays to life as they provide tours and answer questions.  Displays include historic firearms, antique house wares, photographs, and many, many more items of interest for all ages.  There is no cost to visit the museum.  Winter Hours:  Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Special tours are available upon request.
