The Eagle Point Splash Park is now open! The City is very excited to open our much anticipated Splash Park, located downtown on Napa Street across from City Hall and the Eagle Point Library. The Splash Park is open 10:00 am to 8:00 pm each day through the summer.
The initial concepts for the Splash Park were performed by Covey-Pardee Landscape Architects. The Splash Park equipment from Rain Drop products was installed last fall by Vitus Construction Inc., made possible with a grant from the Ford Family Foundation. The Upper Rogue Rotary Club provided a grant for the landscaping and irrigation, planting many of the trees and shrubs as part of their annual workday in June. The completed Splash Park will feature shade structures, picnic tables, trash cans, a bench, and drinking fountain.
The Splash Park was designed by Galbraith and Associates to match the features of Centennial Plaza, and constructed by Siskiyou Cascade Construction Inc. and Pro Lawn Services. Special thanks to the Eagle Point Parks and Recreation Commission and Public Works crew for their involvement to complete the project. The Napa Street project completed street improvements in June for additional access and parking to the park.
